A music video I made recently for a band called Split Persons. Starring Raven Skye and filmed at locations in Kent. The lens flare look is used in the scenes with the band with lights pointing into the camera to give them a dark moody look. The lomo effect (replicating the old analogue cameras) was created in edit and is used for the beach scenes.

Mark Handley's latest video. Most of the footage was filmed by John Stewart. I added the finishing touches, creating the greenscreen shots with the help of George Chamberlain, Edward Hancock, Terry Payman and Jamie Green at SWIPE. I added some effects in edit to give the footage of the couples a retro Super 8mm Cine feel and voilà!
Fans of The Jam's Mod sound will love The Sha La La's. Here's a video I shot of them at Powerhouse Studios in Addlestone, Surrey.
Just in time for Halloween, here's Mark Handley and the Bone Idols with "I Used To Be A Werewolf...". Thanks to Andrew Foley, Jamie Green, Richard Mehr, Monika Lewikowska, Nisha Anil, Sarah Lawman, Alex Cairns, Taylor Nott, Gary Bell and SWIPE for their help in making this.
The song can be downloaded from Mark’s site: www.markhandley.co.uk Here’s a video I put together over the last few weeks for Mark Handley and The Bone Idols called “Support Your Local Rock Star”. We filmed the studio footage a few years back when I made another video (“Rockin’ in the Real World”) and I’d always planned to do something with it and film some inserts. It all came together and this is the result. I jazzed up the rudimentary footage with some flashy effects and it was fantastic fun filming the skits that give the video a narrative.
I used my trusty old Canon XM-2 camera to film my parts, but it’s rare that I’ll make a video using a standard definition camera these days. And, as quite a few people have asked, yes you can actually buy the t-shirts featured in the video! Pay a visit to Mark’s site at: www.markhandley.co.uk |
